SEMINAR PARTICIPANTS


This seminar is designed for medical professionals such as Doctors (MD, DO, DPM, DDS), licensed health professionals (RN, RPT, MPH), hospital administrators, and administrators of health and fitness programs at medical centers.

The seminar will provide the medical professional with the concepts of medical screening, nutrition and exercise prescriptions in preventive medicine for their patients. Also, the skills to add a wellness package to their existing practice and understand the concepts of establishing and operating a successful Medical Center Wellness Program. Each participant will receive a personal exercise program in the areas of flexibility, strength, CVR-aerobics and nutrition.

REGISTRATION

The seminar fee is $490 (Residents $390) which includes workshop materials, workshop text, five books, individual testing, and guest speakers. Total fee or partial payment of $100, should accompany the registration form. CHECK SHOULD BE MADE PAYABLE TO ISC DIVISION OF WELLNESS. The balance is due 15 days before arrival at the seminar. Spouse may attend the seminar at the reduced rate of $390. Space is limited.

1. Will the seminar interfere with skiing time or Disney?

No - the seminar meets in the morning from 7:00-9:30 a.m. and from 5:00-6:30 p.m. in Colorado, and from
7:00-11:00 am in Orlando.

2. Who are the guest speakers?

Please see brochure for list of guest speakers. Note that speakers include several Olympic coaches and leading international authors in the Preventive Medicine field.

3. Is this the first time the seminar has been offered?

No- This is the 28th year the seminar has been presented.

There is a cross section of Physicians and other medical professionals that attend the Medical Seminar.
